I have found that even with the most scrutinizing editing, the "best" can change over time. So you may have gone with another if you had looked through them all, but 10 years from now thought, "I sure liked #7, that was clearly the best. Why didn't I see it then?". The way we look at photographs changes with time, memory, perception... I love that. I want those Mexican doors!!! I'm often tempted to post one of the myriads of photos that I have to get for the myriads of applications that we go thru here, but then I wonder if it's prudent to put on the blog the same foto that is in official pictures. It doesn't seem prudent. I might just do a new one and pose for the intent that it's for the blog. The pictures are all of the same person, after all.
