Your account with the chiro sounds like mine with the physical therapist! He was clueless as to what to do with me. We can move better than 99% of their population of patients. I ended up diagnosing myself and I’m strengthening my problem area on my own. Fortunately I’m now practicing with a teacher who is a PT. What a gem she is!

I had some QL trouble a couple of years ago. I think it was caused by the LBH poses, which I no longer do. It’s funny what we begin to think of as ‘not working’ properly. Every time I bend down, I feel so lucky that it’s so EASY for me–not so for other old people!

I finally got to practice with Celeste at Pure this morning, she’s good I have to say, thanks for the recommendation. Hopefully I will get 3 more practices with Celeste and 2 more at Oasis with Denise.

LOL, we also bond over booze in my family. Maybe it’s a Southern European thing? Hmmm maybe if it was exclusively over wine…

Anyway, I’d be really interested in hearing more about the chiro’s theory for your back pain, since my back problems started with a sore right QL in Kapotasana and got progressively worse until, well, you know what the deal is these days. So please drill him, tell him V really wants to understand!
