There's some of that going on in our shala- spectacular bouffants created by headbands scooching up. I've never heard of the velcro effect! That's hilarious. I have short hair too, but your curls sound wilder. I have to use a pony tail holder and 4 clips. My pea head doesn't allow for headbands- they just pop off! Single tasking is wonderful and so hard to do when you're used to thinking more is better. I heard about a study where they found that people who busily multi-task get far less done. I try to remember that when I'm racing from my sewing machine to the computer to the ironing table, etc. "STAY ON TASK, LIZ!". I'm glad you're getting some down time and sinking into your single tasking. hair-asana!
