Seattle
Posted in ashtanga yoga on 06/02/2009 01:09 pm by karenA quick post from conference. Seattle rocks. Great bookstores. Great yoga.
I met Laksmi and Armani and practiced with The Diver. A terrific experience. I’ll write more when I get home, but suffice it to say: my love of experiments was satisfied and he has some REALLY cool (and kinda scary) props.
And we discussed proprioception. You know that gets big points in my book.

hi Karen
how wonderful that you got to practice with Laksmi and Armani – two great people. (hi Laks!) sounds like the Diver is great. i had to google the word, but propioception seems really important for us ashtangis always moving our bodies about.

Thanks for putting me in touch with Armani, Arturo.
Laks, as Armani and I were heading downstairs to meet you, The Diver laughed and made some comment about bacon. I was very amused.

I’m ashamed to admit I’d never heard of propioception and have no idea what it is.
