Waylon
Posted in dog! on 03/22/2009 09:13 am by karenHe’s gonna grow up and be a big old bulldog, like his parents:
Yup, he needs a nice big name.
Funny, though, to apply a big name to a little pup. I keep calling him “Pupito.” But that won’t last for long…
Waylon is settling in nicely. He defers to Maxine and bounds around the backyard joyfully. He only has two nemeses so far: the curtain near his crate in the bedroom, which he growls and barks at last thing in the evening and first thing in the morning, and a small solar light in the backyard, which he considered picking a fight with yesterday afternoon.

I was loving his puppy feet, too! Great photo of him snuggled up next to Maxine, how sweet.

Waylon!
Perfect name!! He’s so fine- love all the photos. So glad to see Maxine with a friend. His dad looks fierce! Like the guy at the barbecue who might kill you for the last burger. (and who might have a son named Waylon!)

Yeah, that’s awesome. You guys, I think, really HAD to dog again. Excellently done.

Those long front legs! I want to nuzzle in all that loose puppy skin. He is so damn cute.
Maxine seems to really go with the flow, huh? I love how Waylon’s already cozying up to her. That can be a hard, awkward adjustment but these two seemed to fall right into place.
Thank you for sharing this! I am so delighted for you guys.

Welcome Waylon!
Sorry Karen, I’ve been super busy so I hadn’s stopped by. So glad you found a new pup to join the family.
This Saturday I will be meeting our Chinese doctor’s Tibetan teacher. I may not find Zen around here, but I may find Tibetan Buddhism. I may have to talk about it sort of in code, because i don’t know if it’s just tolerated or censored.
hugs
