When my daughter was around 2, we were at a dinner where some people were eating lobster. As she sat on my lap, I turned the plate of the person beside me so the head wouldn’t be facing her. I was worried it’d freak her out.
Turn away to talk to my other neighbor, and when I turn back, I see that she’s grabbed a fork and is curiously poking at one of the lobster’s eyes with it.
