I’m supposed to be at the gym, right?

Why yes, yes I am. I booked 12-1 Monday through Friday, into eternity (or at least as far as Outlook will agree to book me).

Got corralled into a meeting from 11:30-12:30.

Okay, I will not be thwarted.

Moved some other stuff around, and voila: I’ll be at the gym from 2-3. Late in the day to take a break from the madness, yes. But essential for establishing my new habit.

  1. With the gym (like with yoga I find), the more you do it, the more you want to do it. And for some reason, the less you feel like eating crap or drinking, which is a good side effect.

During my month for inertia due to shin splints and bursitis, I became all sedentary, started eating mars bars and drinking cold coronas in the garden. Now I’m back to everything, I seem to have converted back to peppermint tea and porridge with no effort.

People who don’t look forward to the gym are people who punish themselves there. I’m sure you’ll seriously enjoy yourself, like any good yogi would :)

Ok, you can tell I’ve stopped blogging because whenever I comment I seem to write a novel. Sorry!
