The reading and listening are still connected for me--I read slowly as you spoke. Since the voice was slow that seemed the right way to fill in the mental processing time since my mind expects speech to go faster. But convergence like this should happen a little bit gradually. The little lag in technology helps my concepts catch up. This is so cool!!!!!
